GMail to add Atom Feeds and More

Internet News is reporting that Google is going to add the ability to create news alerts based on Atom feeds in your GMail account. I can only guess that they looked at my account and realized just how many news alerts I was receiving to my GMail account. Since it has plenty of storage, awesome search capabilities, and a superior filtering mechanism, GMail is my mail address of choice for capturing internet news items.
