On Clemson University's Your Day radio program today, Dr. Ann Kulze gave some specific advice on exercise that seemed to make a lot of sense to me. She recognizes that building a regular routine requires effort, but that you can make it easier by rewarding yourself for the activity and working your way up to the routine you need. She says that thirty minutes a day, five days a week generates considerable benefits, and she lists those benefits during the interview.
