What is the Matrix? A few months back I read the book The Matrix and Philosophy: Welcome to the Desert of the Real. I have really enjoyed exploring the nature of free will and what is real as I have watched the Matrix Movies. The first few chapters of the book were interesting, but the book became repetitive, tedious, and unfinishable somewhere in the fifth chapter. I am still fascinated with the topic however, and have found a blog dedicated to topics surrounding The Matrix movies. (http://matrixessays.blogspot.com) MatrixEssays covers a variety of topics both deep and trivial. It is a wonderful romp through the ideas of others who have thoughtfully considered the movie.
