The GSATC is launched. With a lot of hard work from all the right people, the mother of all IT networking groups, the Greenville Spartanburg Anderson Technology Council is born. The GSATC exists to network the groups that network IT professionals. There are lots of great IT support groups in our area, but many of them never find their audience. The GSATC helps by marketing those groups to each other and to the community at large. Today we had our first public event with a debut at the Business and Technology Expo. The show went great. We handed out 200 flyers, talked to lots of people and got the word out for the GSATC. I expect we will have a great kick off meeting on April 9, 2003. A lot of people seem excited about it. And here we go...
